Honest materials.
Board-and-batten siding, brick, timber, stone, and standing-seam metal — materials chosen for how they age, weather, and belong to the landscape, not simply how they look on the day they're installed. We believe a home should become more beautiful with time.

Considered light.
Every site has its own relationship with the sun. We study that relationship and orient rooms, windows, porches, and outdoor spaces around the natural movement of light throughout the day. The result is a home that feels connected to its place rather than dropped onto it.

Efficient building envelopes.
Comfort begins with what you don't see. Thoughtful insulation, air sealing, windows, roofing, and exterior detailing work together to create a tighter, quieter, more comfortable home while reducing long-term energy use and operating costs.

Designed around the land.
We don't believe the land should be cleared to accommodate the house. We look at the trees, topography, views, prevailing light, drainage, and natural character of the property before the footprint is determined. The goal is to make the house feel as though it belongs there.
